Trip Itineraries

Day1: Vizag (Arrival)
  • Arrival at Vizag then proceed to Vizag sightseeing – Commonly known as one of the oldest port cities in the country. Situated in heart of Andrapradesh and is known for its picturesque beaches and serene landscapes, as well as a rich culture past.

    • Kailasagiri – Is a hill top part, Lord Shiva and Parvathi statue is the major attraction of the park.(Visiting time 11am to 8pm.Entry fee 5/- and Cable car round trip 75/- for adult and 40/- for child. Best time to visit Oct to Mar).
    • Simhachalam Temple – This temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha. (Visiting time 7am to 4pm & 6pm to 9pm).
    • Submarine Museum – Museum is inside an actual submarine INS Kurusura, which was India’s 5th submarine. Situated on RK beach, near the war memorial.(Visiting time 2pm to 8:30pm closed on Monday .Entry fee 40/- for adult and 20/- for child (camera 50/- & video camera 500/-)).
    • War memorial – Dedicated to Victory at sea during the Indo – Pak war in 1971.
    • Matsyadarshini Aquarium – This is aquarium and houses of fresh and salt water marine life.(Visiting time 9am to 9pm. Entry fee30/- for adult and 20/- for child ( Camera 20/- and video camera 50/-)). 
    • Ramakrishna beach.

Day2: Vizag Sightseeing
  • Morning after breakfast proceed to Vizag sightseeing 

    • Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary – This is the best example of natural harmony between dry seasonal forest and the evergreen meadows.
    • Indira Gandhi Zoological Park – This is part of Kambalakonda forest reserve. (Visiting time 9am to 5pm, closed on Monday. Entry fee 10/- for adult and 5/- for child).
    • Dolphin’s nose – The nose seems to be protruding out towards the Bay of Bengal giving it a rather fascinating look.
    • Bojjannakonda – Six rock cut caves.(Visiting time 9am to 6pm).

Day3: Vizag to Araku
  • Morning after breakfast proceeds to Araku – It’s an unexplored hill station. 

    • Ananthagiri hills – Trekking is available here.
    • Ananthagiri waterfalls  
    • Katiki waterfalls – (Visiting time 7am to 7pm)
    • Borra caves – Situated in Ananthagiri hills of the Araku valley. (Visiting time 10am to 5pm Nov – Mar. Entry fee 40/- for adult and 30/- for child).
    • Padmapuram Botanical Garden – visiting time 8:30am to 6pm
    • Tribal Museum – Holding treasure that showcases the culture, handicarafts, fine art and tradition of the tribes of Easter Ghats.

Day4: Araku to Vizag (Tour Ends)

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Vizag airport / railway station for departure with a lot of memories on this holiday trip.
