Trip Itineraries

Day: 01 – Cochin (Arrival)

Arrival at Cochin then proceeds to hotel and fresh up, then proceed to Cochin sightseeing

  • Fort Cochin
  • Mattancherry Jewish synagogue 

(Visiting time.10am to 12pm -3pm to 5pm Friday and Saturday closed). 

  • Marine Drive.
  • Boating in Cochin Lake.

Overnight stay at Cochin. 

Day: 02 – Cochin to Munnar

Arrival at Cochin Proceed to Munnar –The beautiful hill station was one of the summer capital of British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantation and the round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors.

  • Cheeyapara 

 Visiting time: 6am -6pm.

  • Valara waterfalls
  • Tata Tea Museum

Visiting Time: 9am -4pm.Closed on Monday. Entry Fee: 125/- per person for adult, 40/- for child, 120/- for tea tasting. Information with show timing, first show at 10am & second show at 2pm.

The house of highly endangered mountain goats and Nilgiri Thars.

 Entry fee: 200/- per person for adult, 150/- for child, 500/- for foreign, 50/- for still camera and 350/- for video camera.

  • Dreamland Fun & Adventure 

Visiting Time: 9am -6pm.

Overnight stay at Munnar.

Small zoo in the forest focused on rescuing and rehabilitating elephants and deers.

Day: 03 – Munnar

Morning after breakfasts proceed to Munnar sightseeing.

Visiting time: 9.30am-5pm. Boating is available here.

Ordinary Boat: 300/- for 1-5 Pax 15 minutes.

Speed Boat:500/- for 1-5 Pax 15 minutes

Big Boat: 700/- for 20 Pax 30minutes.

Visiting time: 7am – 6pm.Entry fee: 30/- .Photography and trekking is available here. Trekking time would not exceed 2 hrs.

  • Kundala Lake

 Visiting Time: 7am -6pm.Boating is available here.

  • Blossom Park 

 Visiting Time: 9am -7pm.Entry Fee:50/- per person.

Start time: 6am to10am

End time: 5pm to 8pm

Overnight stay at Munnar. 

Day: 04 – Munnar to Thekkady

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Thekkady – Periyar Lake around the sanctuary is built, for boating. This is the only sanctuary in India, where you can have the unique experience of viewing wild life at close quarters from the safety of boat.

  • Jungle safari 

On Optional cost – 2500/- per person up to 6 Pax in a jeep (Note: Forest entrance is not included.50/- for Indians & 500/- for foreigners.(will be extra)

  • Periyar lake

Enjoy boat ride (boat Tkt extra) – Visiting Time: 7:30am – 5pm.Entry fee: 150/- per person for boat by KTDC and 250/- per person for boat by forest department.

On Optional cost – Visiting time: 10am – 5pm.

Half an hour ride and photo session: 600/- per person.

Elephant Feeding and bathing : 1200/- per person.

          One Hr with elephant ride, elephant bath, commands, communication: 2500/-per person.

Half an hour with elephant and elephant bath, commands, communication, timber dragging, feeding and elephant shower: 4000/- per person.(Ticket will be extra).

Overnight Stay in Thekkady. 

Day: 05 – Thekkady to Madhurai

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Madurai. Check–in at hotel and then drive to Madurai sightseeing.

The historic Meenakshi Amman temple is located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River

  • Koodal Azhagar Temple

Visiting time 5.30am to 12pm & 4pm to 9pm. 

  • Thirumalai Nayak Palace 

Visiting time.9am to 5pm.

  • Maqbara
  • Gandhi Museum

The Gandhi Memorial Museum serves as a remembrance and tribute to the efforts of our very own father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Visiting time 10am to 1pm & 2pm to 5pm,closedon Friday.

  • Alagar Koil

It is situated in the Alagar hills and is also known as Azhagarkovil. The statue of the lord is made entirely of stone and is a splendid masterpiece created from kallalgar.

Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day: 06 – Madhurai to Rameswaram

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Rameswaram. 

  • Ramanathaswamy Temple.

Visiting time 6.30am to 12.30 and 4.30pm to 9pm.

  • Kalam National Memorial

Overnight stay at Rameswaram.

Day: 07 – Rameswaram to Kanyakumari.

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Kanyakumari – The southern tip of Indian sub continent. 

• Vivekananda Rock Memorial

 Located on a small island of Kanyakumari. It has the picturesque Indian Ocean in its backdrop. It is situated on one of the two adjacent rocks projecting out of the Lakshadweep. Visiting time 8am – 4pm.Entry fee 10/- per person, 10/- for still camera &50/- for video camera.34/- per head for ferry service and 20/- for additional to see the memorial.

Day: 08 – Kanyakumari to Kovalam

After breakfast Proceed to Kovalam- Kovalam is internationally renowned beach has been favourite haunt of tourists. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches they are, Light house beach, Hawa beach and Samudra beach.

  • Visit beautiful sunset in the evening.
